I don’t need another TV or monitor - I really don’t - but $10 for a 24" 1080p unit with built-in DVD player? Kinda hard to say no. Yeah, the reviews are so-so, especially the sound, and I don’t necessarily expect it to last like my trusty Toshiba, but did I mention it was only $10? I guess I can finally replace the SD set in the bedroom.

Another one of my Goodwill Outlet finds @ $0.99/lb. What really amazed me was that I also found both the power supply and the remote in the bin; normally I don’t get that lucky.

‘Tis true. It does have a VGA input in addition to the pair of HDMI ports. I’m tempted to replace the 22" Dell on the VESA mount on the desk, but on that monitor I am connected up to three machines on the VGA, DVI and DisplayPort inputs simultaneously, with the monitor autoselecting as necessary.
